Becoming a dermatologist has always been my dream, one that I’ve cherished since childhood. While other girls my age were busy playing with Barbie dolls, I was captivated by doctor sets. I remember the excitement I felt every time I pretended to examine my toy patients, treating each one with the seriousness of a real doctor. Even then, I knew that medicine was my calling.

As I grew older, that passion only deepened. I made a unique New Year’s resolution one year—to dive deep into the world of biology. It wasn’t a typical resolution, but for me, it was the perfect way to channel my curiosity about the human body. Understanding how it all worked fascinated me, and I knew that this knowledge would be the key to fulfilling my dream of becoming a doctor.

When it came time to choose a specialty, dermatology immediately caught my attention. There was something about the field that resonated with me—the perfect blend of science and aesthetics. The idea that I could help people not only heal but also feel more confident in their skin was incredibly appealing. My interest in cosmetology only strengthened my resolve to pursue dermatology. I was intrigued by how the right treatments and products could transform someone’s appearance and, in turn, their self-esteem.

Over the years, I’ve dedicated myself to both clinical practice and research, amassing over 15 years of experience in dermatology and cosmetology. From 2012 to 2022, I spent a decade deeply involved in clinical research while also practicing as a dermatologist. This period allowed me to gain invaluable insights into the development and testing of cosmetic products, which I now apply in my practice. This experience has given me a unique edge in the field. I’ve gained an in-depth understanding of skincare ingredients and the science behind them. I know the details of product formulations and how each ingredient can affect the skin. This knowledge allows me to offer my patients informed, personalized advice and treatments that truly make a difference.

Looking back, I realize that every step of my journey—from those childhood doctor sets to my New Year’s resolution and beyond—has led me to where I am today. As a dermatologist with over 15 years of experience, I’m living my dream, helping others achieve their healthiest, most beautiful skin, and I couldn’t be more grateful.
